The Epitome of Elegance in Victory Heights

This exquisite Häcker kitchen in Victory Heights was a result of a thorough collaboration between the client and Senior designer Rohit Patel. The client had specific requirements and expectations, wanting to create a space of exceptional quality that was also functional and suitable for the family’s needs. Working closely with The Big Fitout, we were able to bring his vision to life.

The carcase features a captivating Lava Grey hue, while the combination of handleless Crystal White High Gloss Lacquer and Graphite Satin Lacquer fronts paired with polished SapienStone Calacatta Light create a luxurious visual contrast. The client desired a bright and homely kitchen design and the use of Ter Hürne LVT flooring adds a natural look and feel, providing an inviting touch that balances the modern elements of this design.

The island in the kitchen was an essential component, with seating and power supply, offering a functional space for casual dining and meal preparation. It is equipped with two 120cm pull-out drawers to accommodate the kitchen essentials. The back of the island houses additional storage cabinets, allowing for easy access to frequently used items. The base units also incorporate channel handle indirect lighting, which adds to their functionality and aesthetic appeal. This type of lighting is designed to provide a muted, diffuse glow that sets the mood for a relaxing evening. The addition of Bocci pendant lights above the island also enhanced the space’s ambiance, offering a subtle yet remarkable lighting feature.

The removal of internal walls helped to keep the layout open and maximised storage capacity. As storage was crucial for the client, Rohit integrated extra ceiling-height extension units, providing ample storage space for the homeowners’ needs. Tall cabinets line one wall of the kitchen, with a supermarket unit, Siemens oven and combi microwave and oven, and an impressive 75cm Gaggenau fridge.

In addition to this stunning kitchen design, the client also opted for a laundry room that matched the kitchen’s style. The laundry room provided a more organised and functional room, with sufficient counter space for storing baskets and preparing clothes for washing.

In the client’s own words: “I would say that the main takeaway I would have for Häcker is quality. Very high quality. The product is beautiful. The finish is fantastic, and the service from start to finish has been second to none.”
